Rode the 0, not the 1. I've got my thoughts listed here:

As for the 1,2 I believe that weight on the 1 is about 22 pounds out of the box.

Have the 2. Weighs 23 lbs even with no pedals. So far been really happy with the bike. I am switching from 26 and found no issues with the handling in the tight stuff. The bike climbs great and accelerates out of corners nicely.

Thanx for the replies. Nice review:

The 2 looks like a great ride. Love the color scheme + the XT stuff is super slick. 23 lbs is certainly light enough!

Uhm, I'm now looking into the possibility of the XTC over the Anthem, Ed (thanks tho), but the more I've been riding the Anthem 3 27.5 I'm not sure if I do want to give up a dually! I would like to give up a little more weight, tho. My 26er Anthem (aluminum) is 24 lbs even with pedals, cage, and computer.

I'm considering the same thing. Had an AnthemX a couple of years ago and wish I had never sold it. Great bike and have been thinking about replacing it with the 27.5.

Been riding a borrowed hardtail for a week and man it is a lot of fun. Starting to think the XTC may be worth a look.

Ha ha, I was demoing one of the XTC 29ers this week. I am really considering getting a carbon hardtail... So fast and efficient.
