    What size bike?

Hello all. I've recently talked my dad into buying a mountain bike. He's not going to do anything more than riding on a paved bike path and some fairly smooth single track. I'm pointing him toward a Yukon, but I'm not sure what size he should get. He's 6'2" with roughly a 34" inseam. I'm thinking either a 21" or 23" model. His LBS has an '05 Yukon on sale in a 21". What do you suggest?

aside from the obvious - he should go and be sized up in the shop - if he hasn't much experience with cycling/MTBing, i'd err on the side of a smaller frame, and the 21" should be ok. the larger size will 'stretch' him out more, which may provide more power, but probably feel less stable and wieldy.

still, 'comfort' is probably the priority, and it's hard to say without him trying them out.
