    What happened to Cu92?

    I thought this was supposed to be a great al alloy. What happened? Did Giant go econo in making the Aluxx stuff?

    I think so. I'd dare to say that Giant uses only the Aluxx now. Nobody knows what Aluxx is, so it might be better but Giant won't tell either way.

    Personally, I dont think there's a huge difference between aluminum alloys as far as practical uses go, with the exception of scandium...

    It's been awhile, they changed most frames to Aluxx in 2001. This didn't happen across the board, as my Taiwan market 2001 XtC Team is still Cu92.
