Weight of DT Mavic 317 wheelset?

Hey, does anyone know the weight of the DT Swiss and Mavic 317 wheelset that is specd on a number of Giant's midrange performance bikes?

    Cheers,

    Grant.

Ok here goes , this set cam oem on my 08 reign1 ( aus) spec.
I broke it down rough and dirty by checking the individual components.

    rims: xm 317 disc 445g x 2 = 890g
    front hub : dt 370 is 6 bolt = 200g
    rear hub : dt 370 is 6 bolt = 410g
    spokes : dt swiss champion 15g , = 890g
    skewers: x 2 = 100g

all up approx 2.5 kg give or take 10pct

They were ok as a wheelset and could take a fair bit of abuse , but ultimately too heavy and not wide enough.

Thanks for that mate. I try something similar, but was not sure of which model the hubs actually were. I have them on 2 bikes, a Trance X and an XTC, and they do take a beating!!

    Thanks again.

    Wal.
