Upgrade advice - 11 AnthemX 29 - fork and brakes

So - before I ride the kokopelli from Fruita to Moab - I want to upgrade the Brakes (the squealing, shuddering avids suck!) and fork to a 120

I am leaning towars the Shimano XT or XTR brakes - as I had em on my 575 and NEVER an issue, problem or letdown - but open to additional advice -

Fork - which would you advise?
Talas? 32 FIT or terralogic? Rockshox?

    Thanks in advance!!

I have 2011 XTR brakes on mine they are the best brakes I have ever used, that being said I have only used Magura Marta SL's [3 sets]
I do run a Fox Talas RLC on my Anthem 29er but have found I leave it in the 100mm position 99% of the time, for me 100mm just seems to work no matter what, I credit that to the superior design of the frame /suspension, the bike is the most balanced FS I have ridden.
Oh ya, I have spent months on the kokopelli/Fruta/Moab trails, its where I live.

Thanks sunnyside - appreciate the response especially the fork perspective - could save a good amount of $$

my shop owner buddy told me to go for the new XT's unless you like the look of the XTR's better and have the cash. otherwise basically identical and much cheaper for the XT's.
