    Tyres for Rainier

Can anyone suggest some suitable tryes for a Rainier ridden about 10% on the road and 90% on flat, fine gravely bike trails.

It really depends on your budget and what characteristics youre looking for in a tyre (eg. wear, rolling resistance etc)
I`ve found the Panaracer Fire XC 2.1 to be an outstanding all-round tyre, excellent wear and grip, although it has a fairly high rolling resistance. Its also very well priced for a good off-road tyre.
The Nokian NBX 2.1 is a super-fast rolling tyre, with very good grip, but being a very soft compound tyre it tends to wear rather rather quickly from what I`ve experienced with it.
Either of these would go fine on a bike like the Rainier, again it just depends on what youre looking for.
