Trance X2 and Trance 3, which is better?

Hello riders, I am considering getting either a Giant Trance X2 or Trance 3 which is cheaper.

Any advice if there are any major differences between the two in components and as trail bikes?

    thanks

depends on your level of skills. i bought a trance x2 last year (used) with dropper post (reverb), 50mm easton stem and rear tubeless. $1300, coming from a hardtail, x2 is a monster on trail. it takes whatever on its way. put some new stuffs this season. =D i have test ridden the 3, its a nice bike too, you can always upgrade later on
