    Trance x SL - Project

    I started with a 2011 Trance X sl1 and upgraded the bike as follows:



    - Flow Wheels and Project 321 Hubs(10mm rear axle) - Thank you project321.com, for the Awesome wheelset.

    - Marzocchi 44 RC3 ti

    - XTR cranks / MRP guide / RaceFace 34 tooth ring / XTR shadow Plus rear derailleur

    - XTR shifters and XTR trail brakes

    - Pro Tharsis Bars and FSA, SLK Stem

    - Giant seat dropper, soon to be KS



    Time to go get it Dirty.

    That direction is for traction, the other direction is for speed...That is what is says on the sidewall.

    Love the color scheme thats a darn good looking bike and I just ordered a xtr group set can't wait to get it

    So far so good...No more tire rubbing the cable and it keeps the dirt and debris out of the the area that causes some problems with this post. Everyone at the shop I bought the post from runs theirs this way.

    I took the bike out for a test ride today. I rode it for 21.3 mi and climbed 1,813 ft. I was a little worried the 34 tooth ring would be too much for me but was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. The Project321 wheels are AWESOME. The Marzocchi fork ate up the bumps, better than any 32mm stanchion fork I have ever tried. The bike was a blast to ride. The Geax AKA tire is a fast rear tire, worked great where I ride.

    I sold it to fund another build. The Anthem X 29r would be awesome if they made a carbon version.
