    trance x shock tune.

I just rode my friend's trance x bike yestrday.
he replaced the shock to a kashima fox rp23 shock, and doesnt remember what tune the original shock had...
he have a medium tune for compression.
coming from an ironhorse bike, I know that this kind of link needs a low tune.
what tune do you have on your trance x?
other than that the bike really feel good.

Can anyone help with what shock tune a 2011 trance x requires? Looking to replace the stock Giant shock, I know it's 7.25x1.75, just trying to find out what tune for Fox or maybe even an RT3.

I too have a Trance X4 and want to find a good replacement shock...Rock Shox or FOX? the new Trance comes with FOX, but is this the best choice? 7.25 X 1.75 is the stock size, does it take any other size? Who makes the stock shock? seems like a good product, any thoughts?

Not much info from the dealers or the Giant, maybe the guys using the bikes in the real world have ideas. Thanks!

They use a custom low tune which feels much lower than std low tune.

Large volume can with a L compression tune and I think it was a M rebound

Appreciate the answers, they seem to conflict with others though:
    2011 Trance X shock (RP32 BV) on 2009 Trance X frame?

That one suggests the 2011 has a high compression, medium rebound...

I would expect a lower compression on Maestro though?

I have the RT3 off of my old one still kicking about - at work now and don't recall the tune, but will check when home and let you know.

It was what seemed to be the most suggested from what I could read online at the time, and worked quite well.

If PUSH ever does custom RT-AM building again, one of those with minimal inherent platform would be sweet! Had one done up for the Spitfire I was on before the TX, and it made the bike way, way better. I'd think similar for Maestro, so long as one is a decently smooth pedaler.
