    Trance X 29 - What's considered a good deal?

New model, new model year and a company with a reputation for bang-for-the-buck. I'm really close to getting an X1 and I'd like to know if any TX29 owners got a solid deal on theirs. I've visited many Giant dealers where I live, just sniffing around and got varying degrees of offers.

What deals have you reached that you consider pretty good?

That is good. Includes sales tax right?

Did that include tax? I'm seeing TX29s for that price as well, but it doesn't include tax. Hate paying 'the man'.

My local shop has the X1 for $2399 and the X2 for $1699 pre-tax. Seem like pretty good prices.

Kills me that I can't demo the bike anywhere locally, really torn between an Anthem X 29er and this as my next bike, among a few other options.

That's right about what everyone else is paying here post-tax so that sounds about right. I paid $2600 OTD and just wanted a fair deal.

Just ordered an x2 for $1850 plus tax. Guy wouldnt go lower. Got a $50 less quote from an out of the way shop though. Just got a great deal online for XT brakes so I'm not so sour now. If I can source a shadow plus rear shifter set for a good deal I'll be content for now.

My buddy just got the x0 for $2100... it was thru a 'pro deal', I helped him unbox it and put it together. It's a sic bike! It made my Anthem X29er 0 feel old

Rode it once then put on reverb dropper post, wider bars, shorter stem, and set up tubeless.... the ultimate ride!!! #jealous

I have ordered an X0. They said November, then end of December, then last week. Now maybe January. It's killing me. My current ride has no suspension 38 lbs and is a wonderful tank.

    Price is $3,075 before tax.

BS or not. TOS? Please hop off that high horse.. Even if it were that serious, he didn't mention the shop or his buddy by name for that matter.

The rim tape was already on the rim, it's basically that DT Swiss kit, and the valves came in a plastic ziploc. Was a breeze. Couldn't believe how nice of a fit the rim/tires were. The tire beads fell into the rim with one hand.
