swinger losing air and HFX9 issues

Wondering if anyone had the same experience:
My rear shock was losing its SPV pressure real quick.
i.e.: I was doing a marathon downhill event in the Alpsthree weeks ago or so and the damn thing was so plush by the time I was at the finish line that I had to repump it. After some verifications it was losing 30 psi in about a night.
It was shipped back to Giant as regular, routine maintenance. i was just wondering if anyone had the same experience...
The one thing I hate about the Hayes is that the lever unscrews as I go downhill and very quickly I happen to brake on my fingers. Any fix for that issue.

    respect to the community.

Have you checked that the schrader valve is tight in the shock? Sometimes they can be loose and lose air, this is fixed by using a schrader valve tool and tightening them up.

If all else fails, return it to your LBS for a check-up.

As far as the levers go, a dab of blue loctite on the adjusting screws works fine.

Yes, for the levers some blue locktite will fix it.
But I reccomend pulling apart the levers to do it(no need for a re bleed or anything). Cause I had the problem with locktite getting inot my actual lever and getting it stuck, not good! So pull them apart, clean the lever threaded part real good and put a little locktite on.
I'm aure the LBS could do it for you if your not sure?

thanks a bunch, will use the locktite.

as for the shock it is not a swnger but a 3 way (freeride paranoia is acting on me!) and it is not a problem of valv but of joints in the inner chamber so my LBS is taking care of it and has lended me an extra one in the mean time...
    let's go ride!
