    Slackening Anthem X29

Is there a way to slacken the Anthem X29 without using a longer travel fork or Angleset type headset?

I'm thinking something like an external lower cup that fits the lower tapered section of the headtube.

You could alter the rear shock mounts as some guys sell bushings that are offset for that reason, but...it's not necessarily a good idea bc you're going to lose bb height and ground clearance. Also, you'd have to check and see how much clearance you'd have on the rear suspension, ala tires and linkage.

Why don't you want a longer fork or angleset headset? Unless you compare headset cups with a fine tooth comb, I don't know if you'll find much of an alternative. Don't forget you can always get a 120 mm fork and set it up as a 110 or 115 mm travel fork.

I read an article where a guy in the UK installed a EC lower cup and offset upper bushing (can't do offset lower on Maestro). I Can't find an EC lower headset cup.

    I just installed a 120 F29 on my '11 AX29-2 and really like it with 720 bars.
