Is the Revel frame the same as the Talon frame?

Anyone know how the frames of the Revel 29 and Talon 29 are different?

According to the geometry specs on Giants site, the top tube on the talon is longer, the chainstays and wheelbase are shorter, so it should be a slightly more responsive bike. I have a sneaking suspicion that hanging the bare frames on a set of scales would reveal the talon to be the lighter frame of the two as well. In other words, I don't think they've taken the same frame, hung different components on it, and called it something different to charge more money for it.

    That sounds just right, thanks.

I stopped by a Giant rep LBS and looked at the two. Even though they look similar, the tube widths are visibly different. Definitely not the same frames.

They are different, the path is Revel, Talon, XTC; all look alike from a distance but there are differences between them.
