Reign X top shock bolt size??

Anybody know the size/grade of the top shock bolt for a 2010 Reign X??

Snapped my shock bolt today and I'm looking to find a replacement locally tomorrow...just got some rain and I'm going to be bummed if I miss out on some tacky dirt! I gotta drill out the thread side so I wont be able to match it up...

I searched but couldnt find anything....help would be appreciated!!

    Thanks

M6 threads but not sure off the top of my head on length. At work ATM, but will measure when home in a couple hours if no one has gotten you an answer before then.

Get the best match you can from whatever shop or local hardware place you can - it'll get you riding at the least.

Swapped mine out for a swanky ti bolt - been trouble free with that for a couple years now, with a fair bit of hard riding on the bike.

40mm length, 25mm threaded, with a 13mm head. In a pinch, just grab an m6 x 40mm hardened steel bolt and a larger washer for underneath.

Cheap and easy enough to grab a couple for spares, just in case.

yes definitely get the case hardened steel bolts as said above. after breaking more than a few of the regular bolts i even took it a step further and purchased bolts longer than i needed and cut them down a little. This made for a longer shank and less threads which proved to be much stronger.

Were all of your bolts snapped during riding? I had one break from over-tightening, but that was a while ago. I wonder if I should carry an extra when I'm riding?

yes. broke 2, bent another 2. no problem after i did what i said above, but would certainly still carry a bolt.
