New question here. 2001 Iguana SE

I love this bike!!! I'll never part with it.
Bought it new in 2001 and upgrade all the components to Shimano XTR the same year. An oldie but goodie.

Never thought I would own a mountain bike that was this light.

    2006 xtc

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue:

Post your hardtail Giants-dscn1021.jpgPost your hardtail Giants-dscn1023.jpgPost your hardtail Giants-dscn1024.jpgPost your hardtail Giants-dscn1025.jpgPost your hardtail Giants-dscn1026.jpgPost your hardtail Giants-dscn1027.jpg

A friend gave me his old completely used up XTC SE2. I discarded everything except the frame, even the paint. Sanded bare to 400 grit and polished with Mother's. Built wheels with Hope hubs and Stan's Olympics. Tubeless setup with Nobby Nics. Hope bottom bracket, headset, rotors. XT brakes. 1X10 drive train with XT shifter, XT Shadow Plus derailler, XT crankset with 32t Salsa chainring. Got same model Fizik Tundra saddle as on my other bikes. Straightline pedals. Weight is about 22.5 pounds. This is my first build, I did it mostly for the experience, but I'm really liking it. I also have an 2012 AX29er. Thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum for all of the inspiration and advice.

    Resurrected 03' Yukon

I brought this bike back from the dead as the frame has mostly been sitting since 2010, and it really hasn't been ridden much at all since 2006 when I bought my first full squish rig. It has a new headset and new cranks and a bunch of stuff left from other bikes. Add in some old purchases as well and you have a pretty decent winter beater here. It is great to have 3 rings up front and a hardtail for riding on the road again.Post your hardtail Giants-giantyukon03.jpg
Get out and ride even when you don't want to because ten minutes into the ride you'll be glad you did.

    A couple new additions

I've added some new additions to my 2005 Giant Yukon (aka "Jack") - Azonic riser bars and a Specialized BG women's saddle. I've slowly replaced much of the original parts save the front derailleur and rear drivetrain. This bike has been a lot of fun over the years.

I just got a 2009 Yukon XC frame (26"), never used for $40.00!!! I am going to use some stuff I removed from my 29er (seatpost, saddle, stem, bars, Alivio groupset, Tektro disc brakes and rotors and I am getting a 26" wheelset with tires (tubeless), and possibly a Rockshox XC32TK solo air. Should be ready by end of April. Will post pics once done. So excited to join the Giant club! Always wanted one.
