My new Giant Advanced SL 0 comes with a 120mm Float Terralogic, and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a deflective or wandering front end on steep rough/rocky climbs due to the inertia valve not being activated? I wanted the 120 over the 100 for the same reasons many others do; slacker not so twitchy front end.
I have a 130mm Revelation World Cup with manual lockout which I really like (it's on a longer travel trail bike now) but the 130 may be too steep for the 71d HA and the bike's xc-feel. Yet I know a few have put 130 forks on 100mm "race bikes".
Is 130mm too much?
