please tell me warranty is better than stated

One year. Really? One year. That's all the faith you have in your products?

My 2010 bike clearly separated at a weld, no crash, no other damage, and I'm S.O.L. Tell me I'm wrong please.

I loved that bike. Giant, give me a reason to believe. Please!

Thought it was lifetime on the frame. At least, through 2009 it was.

I think the 1 year you looked into is for components.

..all Giant brand repair parts, replacement parts, and accessories, are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.
    For the frame:
Giant Bicycle, Inc. ("Giant") warrants the frame and rigid fork of each new Giant brand bicycle and Giant brand frameset to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the bicycle.

Sorry forgot to post the following story. Giant seems to stand by their warranty 100% (as long as you are the original owner and/or have the proof of purchase).

    AC warranty = new Trance

Synopsis: Guy cracks heavily used 2002 Giant AC frame. Takes to LBS but could not do anything since no receipt. Guy finds receipt. LBS processes warranty. Guy gets brand new Trance w/ RP23. Guy is now happy.

    Giant is awesome.

I'm interested in buying a Reign in the future, however, I cannot find what Giant's warranty is when it comes to their swing arms on full suspension models. Anyone know?

"Swingarms" are part of the frame. Thus - full lifetime warranty.

Awesome. I only asked 'cause Trek & Specialized only have 5 year warranties on swing arms on their full suspension bikes.

Well that makes me glad that I have a bike that has a lifetime warranty on somethings. I know that the components are different but I am okay with replacing them after a year if they break.

If its only a few months old, they should have records of the purchase still in their sale system. I'm sure they could reprint you a receipt especially if you know the manager.
