To paint or not to paint - Cypher

Wondering if you guys prefer Powder Coating a frame or anodizing or painting it yourself. I'm concerned that the heat treament for PC can damage the frame. Thoughts as I continue to research this topic.

Also since this bike is Mammoth bound a couple times a year I'm thinking I should at least put a bashguard on it and maybe some kind of chain holder. Swap out the third ring and bump up the second to a 36 and put on a nice guard. Anybody find something they really like for their Trance?

    Thank you,

If you're the original owner I probably wouldn't because of the warrantee. But yea I agree I'd also prefer PC. The paint on my 2009 TX chips a lot easier than my powder 2009 Yukon FX that's for sure.
