OK, question about Giant's Anthem rear hub before I order new wheels, I'm stupid...

OK, the specs for the 2014 Anthem 27.5 I bought say its convertible rear between 10x135 and 12x142. The rear skewer is a screw in DT Swiss that appears as thing as a normal skewer.

Is the rear wheel a 10x135 but the bike will accept either size? Just trying to determine if a friend can run these wheels on his normal QR rear bike.

I believe normal QR is 9mm, I've ran 10mm bolt on hubs (hope pro 2) in regular 9mm dropouts. Shouldn't be an issue.

Take your rear wheel off. If you're still not sure, post a pic of the wheel and whatever you pulled out to be able to remove it.

Rear QR axles are 10mm in diameter. The QR itself is maybe 3mm, give or take. If you're using a through-axle, you'll actually be removing the axle itself, which is 12mm in diameter. So as soon as you start removing stuff, I think you'll know the answer.
