    NRS for x-country

Anybody still using an NRS for X-country racing or have you moved on to a diffrent bike. Starting to do more mountain biking after 8 years of ultra running and wondering if my old NRS is still worth racing. Thanks for ony input.

I've been using my NRS for about 4 years now. I thinks its a great XC bike, especially if you have a good set-up (drivetrain, components). Its fast and efficient.

Although i'm getting a Giant trance now simply because i've worn the NRS out and i'm after more travel.

    Nothing wrong with the NRS.

I still rock the NRS, and I often see other NRSs at races too, though their numbers are decreasing. It's a very efficient design. It's still worth racing. If you lose, it won't be the suspension design's fault.
When under pressure, your level of performance will sink to your level of preparation.

I still ride my '03 NRS but I don't race it. It has it's place for certain trails. Kinda between my hardtail and my Stumpy FSR.
