    New with tags 2008 Giant Trance X1 - How much?

    This bike: Giant Bicycles Archive

    Have a line on a brand new, stickers still on, 2008. Bone stock.

    What do you think is a fair price for this?

    sounds sweet to me. I'm building a similar bike from a frame I got here on classifieds, except I'm using a Manitou Minute Pro 140 and the new XT crank, X9 & XO stuff and stans wheels. My bike build will end up costing about $1500 1700 give or take some as I am not keepiing great track. I'd say its worth about $1500 to $2000, on Ebay you see that sort of bike used go for pretty decent money.

    When new the bike retialed for $2400......so I would think closer to $1500...which is pretty much what he is asking for.

    What I need to figure out is how far $1500 will go on something a littler newer, but likely with some miles on it. The Trance is literally brand new.

    Was considering waiting for used Superlight 29ers to hit the market before I came across the Trance
