Very nice ride! I have a Skareb Comp on my NRS but I want to upgrade travel to 100mm so Im looking for either a Black or (maybe) Skareb. Im sort of leaning towards the Black becuase its cheaper (03 model) and I want a strong fork. How do you like that fork so far? Im assuming its the 100mm version?

btw did you ever get the avid noise to fix after you got this fork?

Second the clipless pedals. Those pedals seem way out of place.

Cool. I can't wait til my Skareb arrives. Universal Cycles totally screwed up my order, so I won't be getting my fork until sometime next week.

Oh, and I third the clipless pedal suggestion. Some Shimano 959's, maybe? And, although Eggbeaters are light, I personally am not a fan because their lack of platform.

Those new Xpedo Mountain Force pedals are pretty light, too. The Xpedo Mountain Force Ti/Ti model only weighs 198g a pair.

Seriously, sweet bike. I got mine about a month or so ago and am loving it. Climbs great (better than my HT). Is a great race bike.

Hey rsmillbern, do you have fox forx on your NRS? you should post some pics. I've been looking at putting some on my NRS, although they are heavy.

I have an F80RLT. It's not ultra light, but it is very stiff. Great for climbing. I had this one put on when I bought it, so I can't compare to stock. Weight on my bike is 25.4 lbs. Stock except for the XT cranks, XTR rear derailur and XT shifters. I am loving it!!
