Well, i wanted the x1 but they didn't had it. They had the x3 '11 but i didn't liked the frame color, so.. But I ended up with a really nice bike.

    X4 gutted!!! Sweet setup!!!!

Also let me know what you think of the Slant6 as a front tire?

I have one on the rear and works great!! But hesitant as a front tire.

Will let you know in a couple of days cuz my wife made me go to a hotel for the weekend. I was like you, wasnt really sure if i should use the slant six at all because i ride a lot near the beach and the terrain is from hard packed to patches of extremely loose sand. But a friend of mine has a similar thread tire and he loves it.

I was also looking at the weirwolfs.

    But will let you know.

The fork is from probikesupply.com. But you should call if you want better pricing.

Rear shock is from ebay. I bought it new, took it to the shop to confirm it was new and in good shape. It went for $278.00 and free shipping. There weren't many options for a shock that will fit my bike so I don't know if it was a good deal or not. To me it seemed so.

I love it. I still need to set it up right. The size is small.

Your bike looksso bad ass. I have a 2009 trance x1. Did the talas make you sit up higher? I am wondering because I too have a small and was looking to upgrade the fork to the 140 talas rlc. Did you also get wider handlebars?

Same here, heard a lot of bad stuff about the wheels but i love them so far. The one thing that i disnt like is the grips, they are really nice but get worn very fast, thinking of using the stock grips or getting some odis.
