    MPH brakes help

    during brake set up I found the pistons would not go back in to claiper housing completely bleed vale is open and resivour is also open. with new pads on and adjustment barrel set to maximum the new pads just fit but after only a short down hill section start to rub then lock up. anyone got any tips? I have been throught he set up from scratch twice now and can't get them to shift

    First, I guess these are old MPH, not Root.
    Then, I believe, you've been using them for quite time, so pistons may be dirty, that's why they stuck. Take brake off the bike, take pads out of calipers, clean everything inside caliper.
    Then, barrel adjustment stucks as well, sometimes, especially when you set it in extremes positions. Turn it in or out a little bit.
    And the last thing... your brakes mayb need rebleeding.
