Just bought a used XTC 2 frame, looking to build it up as rigid

So I just bought a used XTC 2 frame off of craigslist for cheap. I'm looking to build it up as a light weight rigid. It came with a cane creek headset, an weighs in at 3.25 pounds.

Anything about these models worth noting before I build it?

One of the more interesting points I found out was that the overall frame weight is around 3.25 lbs, which seems a lot lighter that frames for some of the nicer hard tail frames on the market today. Of course it's missing things like a tapered head tube etc, but I'm pretty happy that it is so light.
