Shock adjustent is based on feel IMHO

What kind of Fox do you have R, RL, RLC? On a previous bike I had a Float R and it was configured like this (my weight is 200lbs):

    • Main Chamber: 170psi (usually rear shock pressure is between 1/2 and 3/4 of your weight)
    • Rebound nob: Half Way
Giant's manual should have a shock setup guide, take a look and start from their recommendatoins, then play with air pressure until you find your sweet spot. After finding it write it down.

    Good luck!

Way much easier then, just put in 3/4 of you body weight to the main chamber and adjust sag using more or less pressure. Takes a while to find the sweet spot but is time well spent.

I followed this for the most part and have been happy. I run the adjustment ring up just to the first mark or second mark if I am on trails that are real rough and increased pressure about 5 lbs. This keeps the shock from bottoming out as quickly, but you also need to slow the rebound a little. Just make small changes until you get it dialed where it suits your riding style. Big changes make it hard to find the sweet spot.

Good luck. The Air looks like a killer ride. I have a NRS-1 with upgraded parts that are 95% same as the Air (but still AL frame )
