How many ball bearings am i supposed to have in my front wheel?

I got a 09 rincon. i took it apart to regrease cuz my wheels wernt spinning as free as they used 2.. i read where ur supposed to leave space for 1 bearing but after i did.. i had 1 left.. so was there an extra one in there some where or did i lose one? btw there was a total of 19 bearings..

    I think...

it's 9 ball bearings each side. Try putting some in one side then the other, if the gap's the same size then you shouldn't (in theory) have any ball bearings left.

I had the same issue with my Yukon where I had one ball left over, found out I put too many in one side; easily done.

    Ten

I learned to look at the bike and say TEN.

Ten in the front hub, Eleven in the BB and Nine in the Rear Hub. Of course this applied to older bikes, not sure if it applies to the newer ones.

...or was that starting at the rear hub moving forward...
