    Giant Roam XR1 suspension change

I have a Giant Roam XR1 that i use to get to the work, the bikeis great, i change many components and now is a mix of Shimano XT/XTR.

The ral problem is the Suntour fork, is a real piece of s..t, and i need to change it because it simple can't be fixed, in the store i use another suntour forks, and all are really bad forks.

Another thing is the i'm looking for a rigid fork, not a suspension one, it can be aluminium or carbon, but it has to be disc only and 700c. I know that there are a couple on eBay and other ones her and there, but...

Folks, what is in your opinion the best alternative??

    Best regards,

How about cyclo cross forks? Some are available with disk mounts and are made of steel or carbon.

Measure the axle to crown of your current fork and look for something similar.
