    Giant MPH 3 brakes

i've noticed one strange thing on it. when pushing left lever (front brake) fast and releasing it fast, everything is ok. but when i'm releasing it very very slow, there's some squeak, it feels quite unsmooth. checked it on brand new Terrago - left lever feels absolutely the same. both mine and Terrago's right lever is very smooth. i dont get it - is it normal? how about yours (if you have)?

    Hi,

I have had one of my MPH levers replaced by Giant with the same symptoms. Basically water gets into the chamber on the lever and it rusts and eventually siezes. My new lever appears to be going the same way and it is squeaking like yours.

You can take it to bits and clean it out but it appears to be a bit of a design fault on the levers. My rear lever is fine, that said, so it seems to only happen to certain units.

    Regards
