So far that is my dream DH bike, followed by the Kona Stab Supreme. The Glory is such a nice looking bike... God i want one!!
I want to get a really high quality picture of it, like a 500kb-1mb picture, so i can print it off big and put on my wall like what I have done with some of the Kona's. Their pictures on their site are really big.
This is the biggest i've found so far, and its from the US Giant site...
bike whore, it's a quite unusual color of the glory... US version is team blue and european is black with silver stripes... but the one you found looks like navy?
mine glory will come in may... I still have to sell my F2
guys, tell me pls
if you take a look at clamps of the fox40 you will see that on the "black" bike they are lower than on the blue one... I also noticed that distance between lower clamp and the o-rings on the top of the lower legs is much bigger than the travel of the fork... it's about 230mm I think... what for? can I lower clamps to change geometry?
U can change placement of lower crown, still u are restricted by the limits (on marzocchi there are stickers informing about the limits, bet that on Fox too). Yes changing the crown position will change the geo.

nie, na foxie nie ma, kolego
but, thx anyway
gosh, but japanese glory team is actually the bike I dream about... boxxer WC, sram XO, hayes el camino... why can't I have it?!

this Glory is a New Zealand / Australian spec, it's matt black
nice ride whore. the only thing i recomend doing is taking some of them spacers off the steerer tube and cut it down maybe. or just put some spacers on top of the stem

definitely, the pics are taken as soon as i built it up so hadn't touched the sterrer or spacers.
ok, thank you
i'd prefere take 1lb
you say Michelin tires are thick? (I checked it - 1250g each ) US version of glory has very thin (cause a lot of snake bites) Kenda Blue Groove and Nevegal tires... ever wire version wights 880g size 2,5"
I hope someone will have US glory, soon
Just FYI to whoever said the bike was navy color, the first bike posted is black. Second is in fact team blue. That is how team blue looks on all Giant's bikes.
I dont think you could ever get me on a dowhill bike... or at least not to purchase one. Not very practical if you ask me, I take my NRS-3 on the road all the time no problem. Good luck doing that on a Glory or Faith,..
One of my friends recently died of a coke overdose and it really got me thinking, "damn, maybe I should start drinking pepsi"

That doesnt help this thread very much. It has nothing to do with how how well it will ride on the road .
Well, I've been reading about the Glory for months and I finally picked mine up today (US version).
The fish scale at the bike shop showed 42.5 lbs (16.5" frame and No pedals).
At home my digital bathroom scale showed 43.4 ibs. The bike came with really light Kenda 2.5 tires and Maxxis H-D tubes. Not bad but not what has been posted on some of the other Giant sites.

you're a lucky man, now
I count days till arrival of mine baby
however, 42,5-43,4 lbs is not what I expected :| it makes glory as heavy as my faith :|
I don't know where did the guy from factory took 39,8 lbs from... :|
well, we'll see

i think it was a 17? it was all stock minus the grips....it was a nice roof drop bike....
drop from shop roof to shop trailer to ground ..... it was great
I have just came back from 9 days holidays in mountains with my brand new glory XS
this bike is just great XS fits me very well you cannot feel it's 20,25kg with pedals...
I will post some pics when I clean it well
finally... I managed to clean the bike and now you can see it
it XS size some people say it looks like bmx but the bike is great works as good as faith did but it fits me better the only thing I have to do now, is it solve the problem of FOX/Hope fornt adapter...
they do you have it listed even on US site you can find it in Japan, too
it does pedals great... I can do with it the same as I did with Faith ride all day long
I have just installed DHX Air 5.0 2007 shock on my Glory I set SAG and I went on the first ride around the house. First impression is that the shock is quite linear and it has a little bit too much compression damping. I hope I will make it work as goos as DHX 4.0 Coil did and one thing more... it's very light 450g on digital scale w/o reducers which weight nothing so I shaved 550g from the bike and it's just a begining
I put my bike on digital scale and it showed 19,3kg (42,45lbs).

and how is the AIR doin' ? Have you done any tests in mountains? I was thinking about the same thing on Faith plus an air fork (sth like Totem ) that would save me about 1.2 kg ! but I am worried about performance (and I have to win a lottery).... but I'm curious how does it work.
czesc goRz
I am very satysfied with the performance of DHX Air shock. I only had opportunity to jump on local jumps, but no problems, so far no bottoming out, feels a bit more linear than DHX coil, but theoretically it's impossible I think it's the matter of settings.
I hope I will manage to go to Kamiensk, at least, for some short DH rides
here are two pics: flying and landing
witam, zaraz zrobi nam sie polski thread
na reversie? nie rozumiem...
goRz, jaki ten swiat maly... wlasnie sie dowiedzialem od twojego ojca (przyjechal w Pawlem do biura), ze jestes jego synem
it's a first spot from my home, so I ride there frequently, but I don't like as much as I like SGGW, Gumis and others
yes, it's plush... very plush and it forgives many mistakes

no to by się zgadzało. Czytałem to w piątek ale nie zdążyłem odpowiedzieć, bo własnie wyjeżdżalismy na kolejną wycieczkę.
Też nie rozumiem tego z reversem.....
hey - I actually posted here looking for ways to take some weight off a glory 0, or glory dh. i just found this great thread, in case anyone is looking. most of all, I want to get rid of that stupid rear axle and bolt combo. love the bike otherwise!
if anyone happens to know if the glory 0 and glory 1 comes with DH tubes, let me know - that could certainly save some weight, and also how heavy the formula hubs are... I guess that would entail trading out the wheels though - not cheap.
