I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this program or know how it works, or if it even exists?
This weekend I was biking up in Copper Harbor MI, and had a nasty encounter with a nice branch sticking into the trail. It left my face cut up, and a pretty little dent on the rear triangle of my 2011 Trance X3 frame. There is no crack, but I'm nervous about riding with the dent for too long and was wondering about trying to replace the rear triangle.
I bought the bike less than a year ago (although it is an older model, so it was bought on sale) so it should still be under warranty, though I know crashes aren't covered. I heard that Giant may offer replacement parts at a discount if you crash. Has anyone had any experience with this program? Can I get just the rear triangle replaced, or will I need to buy an entirely new frame?
Any help would be extremely appreciated!
