Giant ATX-7 on ebay Knockoff or real?
I have been eyeing a giant frame on ebay but cannot tell if it is a legitimate frame or a knockoff, has anyone here purchased this frame and can you tell me if it indeed a giant frame? Have tried to look up reviews on this site and many others buy have come up empty handed.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Do people knock-off Giant frames. Usually, stuff gets knocked off when a company contracts overseas to make their product and the manufacturer builds extra and backdoors it. Giant makes their own bikes, so....

Appears legit to me
This guy has been there for a long time. I would be wary of someone with less than 100 feedback - but with 25K....most likely legit.
Click..click...new bike....go for it.

I can't vouch for the frame but I and my mates have bought plenty of stuff from this seller over the last 3+ years.
All genuine parts.

Looks like it's an Asian specific frame
Just did a bit of research for you and found the frame on Giant China's website: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/zh-HT/bikes/mountain/
I think it's the same frame, it's just hard to tell because i don't read Chinese
So, yeah, i'd say it's not a knock-off

I'm also looking at this product on Ebay. I currently have a Trek 6500 frame, which I think is a tad too heavy. However, I have not been able to find any specs on how heavy the 6500 frame is. Can anyone help me out with that? The Giant frame is 1870g. How do you think it will compare to the Trek 6500? Thx
