Just thought people might be interested to know that the 2005 lineup of bikes is now on the Giant USA website. (Not that that helps me here in australia... they're not being released here until 2006...) there's all the specs on the Faith's, Reign's and Trance's. Very exciting.

Some very nice high end bikes. I'm a bit confused at the pricing in that the Faith 1 appears to be less expensive than the Reign1 or Trance1. Faith has 8" travel and components spec out in a way that you'd expect it to be more expensive. Maybe a typo?
Thanks for the post. KERKOVEJ do you have geometry for the other Trance sizes? I have never owned a Giant and am usually between a small and medium (16 or 18 in inches) and would like to have an idea of what size...I guess I am over anticipating as I should just wait and go and get properly fitted but I want to have an idea....
Just wondering where you got the dimensions from? Is there a good place on the web that you know of that you can look them up for older bikes and bikes not on the giant website?
Thanks,
Josh

Kind of a dumb question but does anyone know if the Reign 2 is only going to come in that green color (in the U.S.)? It looks like a sweet bike but I don't know if i'm too in love with that color.
I don't know about the rest of you but I'm a little disappointed in the pricepoints they have listed for the new Maestro's. I throught the Reign 2 was supposed to be around $2000 and the Reign 3 at $1500. The new site shows them both to be in the $2000-$3000 range.
That kind of brought my excitment down a couple notches.
Yeah- no kidding. I'm sure there nice bikes and all, but the advantage with Giant's has always been the lack of the middle man- they build there own bikes in factories they own in Taiwain, and have ENORMOUS bulk purchasing power. This has always meant "great value". If they want to charge the same as the other bike companies who sub-contract with Giant (like Specialized), then I won't be nearly as interested. Giants must be a terrific value.
First thing i noticed is that the Trance models are all shown with an RP3 opposed to the float r which is listed under the specs. and the trance 3 lists a Duke Sc which is not listed on the rs site.
Thanks for the info. Now I just gotta start saving.
