    Frameskin for your Giant?

    Anyone use Frameskins to protect your frame?

    Wondering if its worth the ~$80.

    It looks like it's just a clear poly carb with adhesive on it. It might be easier/cheaper to make something like this yourself if it's a concern for you.

    I use gorilla tape. Comes in a lot of colors. My frame is black so it's a good match. 5$ a roll. Lasts for ages.

    Yep, use frame skins on all my bikes. Well worth the investment.
    Very good fit.

    I work at a ski shop and we have rolls of clear ski tape in both wide and narrow sizes. Heavy duty clear stuff used to protect the tops of skis and snowboards from gouges and scrapes. I just make my own custom sizes based on where on the bike. Not that expensive here we charge $1 a foot for it.

    What's your techniques in installing the frameskin to achieve minimal/zero bubbles at all?

    It difficult to is tall the frameskin in both dowbtube and top tube.

    Not at all. The instruction are great.

    Use soapy water, sprayed onto frame. Use a hairdryer to slowly dry and remove any bubbles.

    Take your time and you will be fine.
