    Extra small anthem 29 build

Starting the build on my wife's extra small anthem. Now just waiting for everything to show up.
    Build list so far
2013 Reba solo air (wanted a dual air)
    Stans Crest ZTR wheel set.
    Schwalbe Racing Ralphs setup tubeless
SLX shadow plus RD medium cage
Sram XO 1x 170mm crank set
Wolftooth 32t 104 bcd chain ring
    11-36 cassette (model?) something lite
    Shimano deore brakes
    Rt66 rotors 160mm F/R
    Saddle?
    Bars?
    Giant 70mm stem

    Any recommendations ?

    Agreed, but
$129 for a set with rotors was hard to pass up. Not sure how much weight that cost me.

Just napped a new fizik vesta womens saddle for $45 on ebay
    249 grams
The giant saddle I took off was 357 grams

I just got a 2012 AX 29er 4 and the giant saddle sucks. I wish I didnt sell my phenom with my old TranceX. Yeah that is a good deal, i cant blame you. The kid I purchase the bike from upgraded to XT w/ice rotors. What a nice set of brakes.

Great spec! For cassette I would spring for XT and as others mentioned XT brakes. Internet search should get you under$240 F/R, they are awesome and this is coming from a die hard BB7 guy.

Don't know where you ride but a 30 front ring 11-36 will give all the gears she needs and make the climbs better. I'm running a Wolf 32 and love it-no dropped chain and great quality from a US company, good choice either size.

Yes I decided on the xt cassette that seemed to be the lightest weight for the price.
We're in florida so most of our climbs are short. The Wolftooth is awesome I have the direct mount 34t on my Jet9 RDO.

    Looking good!

For a carbon bar you can check out eBay, saw a carbonEaston XC 70 for $79 free ship.
If you want to splurge on bling check out the Loaded X-Lite carbon bar think its about 130g and looks great. One of the online sites, maybe Jenson had it for $129.

Have you thought about running a bashwhich setup for the front ring? Home

I'd also look at a cable spreader down by the rear shock (to eliminate cable rub on the shock housing). I tried to get the Giant branded setup for my Anthem 29er, but ended up with a Jagwire model due to availability. S-Hooks & Bridge | Jagwire Part # CHA108

Thanks I'll look into that. I hate cable rubs.

Almost complete waiting on the brakes and light blue Stans Crest stickers. I drop over 5 lb. on this build.

Tight work on an awesome build! love the color scheme (good to see you went to the blue accent on those Ergo grips!) and smile on her face, looks like the pavilion at Alafia?

Enjoy the fruits of your labor, bet she is stoked!
