Is DT Swiss 465D ('13 Reign2) tubeless ready?

    Hey all,

Im thinking of converting to tubeless. The Reign2 currently has
DT Swiss 465D rims and Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance, 26x2.35 (it says 2.35 on the website, but mine is actually 2.25)

Are these ready for a tubeless setup? Or do I need to get something else?

Never done tubeless before. And only changed a tube once for a flat so relatively inexperienced here and I need all the help I can get.

2012 Reign 2 owner and I just replaced the crap tape that was on it with some decent rim tape and I was good to go! Do it, you won't regret it!!

Nah they aren't technically "tubeless ready" but that really doesn't matter. Nearly any can be setup tubeless - use Gorilla Tape to seal the inside of the rim. Do some searching for "gorilla tape ghetto tubeless".

I setup my '10 Reign this way which was flawless for 800+ miles and setup my '13 Reign the same. Best move you'll make.

And btw, those Nobby Nics won't do well tubeless. My '13 came with the Pacestar NNs (one step above yours for whatever thats worth) and they were terrible - just kept tearing sidewalls / knobs).
