New question here. Downtube frame guard for Trance X?????

I know theres the 3M Helicopter tape (which seems like its going to be my only option), but is there something a little better? more protective? like something made of nylon/plastic that can deter larger dents and dings than just a protective tape...

    Thanks in advance.

edit: should add its a 2011

Before anyone else orders they should read the feedback of the seller on eBay. There are a few people that say the guard is paper thin and not well finished. I went to order one then seen the comments so was put off.

looks as thin as regular 3m di noc just pre-cut. wont stop a dent, but will help scratches..

You can always get/buy small piece of such foil(?)
    Standard clear strips | Extruflex
It's i.e. 3mm thick, transparent, cat cut the the shape, absorbs rock quite good.

So i may try to fit the Trek Carbon Armor onto my frame. It comes on some of their carbon mountain bikes and looks pretty solid in person.
