Anthem 27.5 3 weight loss and upgrades

OK, considering this for my next bike, great little test ride, but I am concerned as to how much I'll spend to get the bike how I like it, I'm guessing easily 24-25# range.

I only need a 1x10 drivetrain so I'll drop a chainring/shifter/der and probably put an XT shifter and rear d on the bike. Upgrade the crank/chain/ring later.

Would love to know how good/crappy the stock wheels are and whats the weight like if anyone has that intel so I can prioritize what I'd swap out first.

Also, what crossmarks come on the bike, they don't look like what I see at the LBS, like some type of heavy "sport" model, am I correct on this and I'll want to yank the tires?
Hardrock 29er, Niner EMD9, Cannondale F29, Camber Expert, 650b Nickel all gone.

I just bought the Trance 27.5 3 and I believe they run the same wheels as the Anthem. They are very very heavy and I am swapping those out first thing and going tubeless. I think you can pretty easily save some weight with a better wheelset and tire combo.
