    AC - Front Derailleur selection

Hey everyone, I have a Giant AC Air frame, and I'm on the way to completing it . I'm thinking about picking up the Race Face Atlas X-Type crankset, and am looking for a front derailleur to order with it. I'm not sure exactly what I need, especially since there's a couple types of these. Could anyone let me know what type of derailleur I need to buy, and if possible, throw in a recommendation? On a sidenote, if anyone has any wheelset recommendations, those would be appreciated too. I'm looking at freeriding/XC for now.

    Thanks a lot

Are we looking for a top mount, bottom mount, or bracket mount?

I know a conventional mech works as that's what I've got on mine. I dont think a topswing mech will work as the clamp would have to be below where the seattube is welded to the pivot/bb assembly. I don't think a bb mount mech will fit either.

If your still unsure, have a look at the pictures in the AC picture thread or have a look at this one.
