    8 inch reign

Could u put an 8" rotor on the back of an 05 reign? I am looking at a cheap increase of stopping power and i am definatly putting an 8" er on the front and was wondering if you could do the same to the back (with an adapter of course) Would this void the warrenty and possibly damage the frame?

You surely won't damage the frame, but I wonder why do you need so much stopping power at the rear?

Yes, you can put an 8 inch rotor in the rear. I have an 8 inch XT brake on my '05 Reign. No problems.

    Good job!

IMHO upgrading only the front brake to an 8in, will be sufficient...I run 7in Juicies front and rear and 7in is too much for me for the rear end, I'll switch to 160mm...but you know your riding best.Good luck with the upgrade!

Thanks Everyone for your help. 7in in the rear might be too much 4 u because u have juicys and both pads move on those. Soles only have one moving pad and act like a mid range mech with fluid inside.

I'm cool with 7" Juicys, but I will put an 8" up front when I need a rotor. I agree that 7" in the back is good though.

8" up front will make a HUGE difference.
