What's the deal with the custom 46mm offset? Is that fork rake? No mention of OD2 though... I wonder how changing the fork to a standard rake (if building from frame only) would affect handling.

As the Reign frame is entirely new, it will not be Overdrive 2! Giant is listening to us The Trance will remain the same.

I'm googling on the asian websites, in a few hours I'll post photos and specs of the 2015 Trances (which will retain overdrive 2). It's hard to find leaks on the US and european sites...

Nothing else on the reign? Trying to find something out there and having no such luck.
can't wait to see more on the builds / colors. So far I like what they have done. I just know Giant can get a little overboard with the graphics & colors.

Didn't see anything about a Glory advanced, at least here in the States. The Reign and Reign Advanced are in there as well as a sick looking Trance SX. The Reign has a 65° head angle while the Trance Advanced is 66°. The Trance SX is X01 drivetrain with a dual position Pike and Monarch Plus (!!!). The Reigns, I think, both had Pikes on them as well. Here are the computer generated images of the Reign alloys, the Trance SX, and Trance SX geo. They do finally have some Reign Advanced(!!!) models, will try and get photos later

Patiently waiting for more Reign pics. I know what the Trance 27.5 is capable of so I can only imagine the Reign will pick up right where the Trance falls short.

Here is the geometry numbers and the two Advanced(!!!!) models. The interesting thing on the Advanced models is that they come with the Reverb seatpost. The Team Advanced is $8000 and the 1 is $4600. The alloy Reign 1 is mid-high $3k and the 2 is mid-high $2k.

Next up, Glory 1 (so sick looking) and geo

I, for one, am so pumped that Giant finally made some black mountain bikes again!

Geo numbers look great on the Reign. Compared to my 27.5 3 Trance medium. TT is an inch longer on the reign, head tube 65 versus 67 on the trance. Chain stays on the reign slightly shorter. Hope to see what builds and colors they offer here in the US and then decision time ???????????? Awesome!!

I hate to say it but I'm a little disappointed... Anyone else think the wheelbase on these 27.5 'Enduros' is getting out of control? Even the Large Reign has a longer wheelbase than my Large Demo 8, a bike I would HATE to take through the woods.

I saw that also, the medium reign is almost 47 inch wheelbase, god damn that is a long wheelbase, combined with the 65 degree head angle, that should be a pain on the uphills

Those are nice. I hope I didn't jump the gun on my SX. I need a bike that will climb and descend, hopefully the Trance is a little better at climbing and in the tight stuff and for a rider that refuses to take anything with more than a 2' drop (read scared). With the prices of the Reign I would be really pissed right now if I hadn't gotten the SX for $3,200. $4,050 for the Trance SX is more than most of the Reigns, I can't imagine it selling well with the Reign out. There's a lot of overlap in prices between those two. I wonder if I should sell mine now while it's still worth something.

I think the SX next year will be such a nice bike. Dropping the DH drivetrain for a more all-mountain 1x11. Also going to Rock Shox bits which I am a bigger fan of. 2015 cannot get here soon enough!

From what you are describing the Trance was the right move. Trance will for sure be a better climber, and the reign will be way overkill if you don't hit big drops or super gnar DH.

I compared the measurements and things are looking a little better now. Weird though, a Medium Reign has pretty much the same measurements as a Large Gen 3 Nomad, the Large Reign is essentially the XL Nomad and the XL Reign is I guess built for... Giants?
For the first time in my life at 6'1", I think I would comfortably fit on a Medium?

Anyone know when Giant might update there sight with the Reign? Wonder if there still working on price and what not before posting them up or if there just not going to be available until a little while longer so there not in a hurry to get them on there. One of the local shops already has the Stance on there floor so I would have to imagine that more info on the Reign will be out soon??? Waiting to see what the builds are to decide if the Trance is going up for sale or not.

Cool-blue Rhythm 2015 Giant Reign and Glory pics

Here's a few images floating around on the internet. These came from Sun & Spokes Bike SHop Facebook page.

    Great find!
It might be due to the different frame sizes, but the Reign aluxx frame is significantly different from the advanced, specially the top and down tubes junction (different fork travel?).

Been watching this thread and then spotted this 2015 Reign Advanced in Mammoth this weekend. Not sure which one but pretty much full SLX build with Monarch plus and Pike. Pretty good looking bike, the paint is a matte finish. Carbon front triangle alum rear. 2015 Giant Reign and Glory announced-2015-reign.jpg

    I read ( I think on here ) that it's about 2800 ?? If so, that's pretty good I think.
Hopefully some more info / pics leak out. I am actually curious to see what the price is going to be on the Reign 1? Would like to see more pics of that one as well. Has an interesting color scheme.
