    2013 Anthem X29er Help

I bought a 2013 Anthem X with Fox CTD fork and rear shock. My past experience with Fox has been very positive. The CTD fork feels very dead, non-inspiring. I've played with the rebound and shock pressure to no end with no luck. I've read issues with the CTD settings not working on some 2013 forks but no issues with mine. The fork travel is just sluggish. The rear CTD shock seems ok but I was hoping for it to be a little more plush like the Monarch I demoed. Anyone help appreciated....

If it helps I weigh 190lbs. Running 75 up front and 190 in rear.

Your sag should be about 20%. Start there. On the Anthem you should run about 90% of your ready to ride weight in the rear. I weigh more than you and run less psi than you. Fox is not as lively compared to RS Imo.

Looks like seals are bad in the Fork and Fox is repacing for free. Bike shop is covering the service at 50% off. Hopefully that will smooth out the ride quality!
