    2008 Glory weight loss progam

    Hi All,
I am getting ready to hand down my 2008 Glory to my son (14 years old) and want to lighten it up over the next winter. I am fishing for some ideas beyond what I am already planning, shock Ti spring and maybe a wheel set. has anyone put one of these bikes on a diet? if so what parts did you go with?

    Thanks,

Is it DH or FR version?
Is it stock setup, at the moment?
If it is, than, actually, every part you swap, will be lighter than original. Start with wheels, crankset, cockpit, seatpost and saddle. If you can afford, get air shock. Ti spring won't make a big difference.

Anyone have issues with putting a air shock on this bike? thinking of a DHX air. I dont think a Vivid air has a chance of fitting.
