    18.5 VT or 20.5?

I'm hoping to eventually buy a VT, but undecided which is a better choice, the 18.5 or 20.5. At 6' 1", I have to put the post on the 18.5 just about all the way to the max to get full leg extension; on the 20.5, there's plenty of room, and I still have good clearance between top tube and crotch. Presently I ride a 20.5 Warp. I was thinking a smaller bike may be more maneuverable? Though I don't have any problem maneuvering my Warp. Any other VT riders about my height-what size do you ride?

I am 6'2" with a 36.5" inseem. I ride the 22.5 frame. It works great for me. I feel that the VT sizing seems to be one size off from everyone else. I was very uncomfortable on the 20.5 in both the VT and NRS. You don't want to be to cramped on the bike or you will be launching over the front too often. I would say that the 20.5 would probably be a better for for you.

I'm 6'2" and just picked up a 20.5 VT1. the 20.5 is perfect for me. I was riding a 18.5 NRS and felt too cramped. If I were you, I'd go with the 20.5. Nothing is worse (for your body and your stamina) than a frame that is too small.

When purchasing my VT I tried both the 18.5 and 20.5 for size (I`m 5`11").
I really didnt feel like standover height was a problem with either bike, but what pushed me towards the 20.5 was the much more comfortable cockpit feel.
On the 18.5 it really did feel quite cramped.
    Cheers

I have a 20.5 also and I am 602 with a long torso. The large felt perfect from the start. I am sure the medium would be way too small for me.

    I'm taller...

6'6 and when I was buying a warp, I went with a 18.5" over the 20.5" so I'd have more clearance on what was going to be an eventual 26.5 pound all-mountain setup. Only advantage I would have gotten from the 20.5" was being able to use a bit shorter stem.
