    Winter kit for mtb

I've never seen one of these until today. What a great idea but I can't see this kit handling to well tho by the looks of the ski. You need some good traction in the front to maintain balance, espially corners. Maybe a nice carbide blade going down the center of the ski would be nice for it. Anyone tryed riding this kit or identical to it before? Hope theres a happy ending with the $529 price tag.

Good old search function. I was about to post a thread on this, but I'll just bump this one instead. Might be worth it if you live in michigan.

There was thread on these not long ago. The consensus of the few folks that had tried them was that they were just too hard to pedal. Note that the demo vid shows a guy going downhill on groomed trails. Otherwise, it appears they're useless.
Use it, use it, use it while you still have it.
