    The wheel wars!

29 versus 26. Who cares and why?

I just want to know why the need to "defend" your preference?

Why care what the other guy/gal rides? IMO we ought to chose the option we prefer and not badger everyone else to make the same choice. Both options have their pluses and minuses.

    Thoughts?

I ride both, no need to defend anything. I do not care what anyone else rides.

I agree, it doesn't matter to me, except when someone
mouths off about how archaic 26ers are.

I really don't care if people ride 26 or 29... As long as they are out riding and having fun

By posting on the thread about what you ride proves that you care what people think about what you ride.

    In for the flame wars....
I've made some bad decisions like taking the gears off my bike. So here's the warning: Do not as I say, nor as I do.

I have all three sizes. I can argue with myself as I go down the trail.

If I defend something it's because it is being attacked. If people didn't attack one or the other size then things wouldn't need to be defended. Idiotic statements should be corrected and the fun part about the internet is that it's full of idiots!

Its all about the ride. I really don't care what someone
else rides. However don't rag on me for what I ride.

I do not give a hoot what other people ride. However I am seeing more of these types of discussions at the trailhead!

Don't hate so much, it's a bicycle wheel. Give it a try.
