For most riding here in the AZ desert I actually prefer to wear UPF clothing, arm skins, jerseys etc. That way you don't have to worry about the sunscreen sweating off or getting worn off. I also use a sports specific sunscreen that is high uva and uvb protective. The one I use for my kids for swimming is totally thick and adhesive and will last hours on a 4 year old running around like a maniac. Banana Boat kids for sports/swimming in the yellow bottle.
    Try this: HTFU

Best sunscreen is broad spectrum 30 spf+ with no oxybenzone from any brand.

I ride about 2 hours a day in FL and I use Neutrogena UltraSheer, either spf 30 or 45. I put it on about 30 minutes before I leave and it works very well for me. I also use a long sleeve jersey when weather allows and use the visor when riding road. (plus it is stylish )

A hearty, golden-brown tan. I hate sun screen when I ride because it feels like I cant stay as cool with a layer of paste covering my skin. That plus it never fails to enter my eyes
Something wrong with your bike? Blame it on super human strength and sleep well at night knowing you are more than a man.

I've read that stuff isn't good to have on the skin. If you're really going to be in the sun that much you may want to try light weight loose and breathable clothing. Also, when I eat healthier I don't burn as easy I've noticed. Not sure if that'd work for you.

Look for some sort of natural organic stuff, that'd probably be the best.

I've found this stuff, SolRx, to be exceptional for burn protection, sweat resistance and longevity. It's expensive, but coming from the skin cancer capital of the world (Australia), I think it's worth it.

Anything made of coconut oil. Hawaiian Tropic works. Just put on your spandex shorts and pour the stuff over your body. The oil will lube up your BB, your rim brakes, your drive chain, and your grips. Riding after a good lube like that will result in a great tan and large muscles from trying to hang onto the bike.

Do not rely on suntan oil lube to keep your cables in good shape. They are usually lined with teflon and plastic anyway. Just keep them clean.

We're all slaves to a global government run by bankers and you want to know what sun screen to wear?
No but seriously, you do know the next ice age is coming right?

Not sure what the best is, but I like Banana Boat Sport 30 SPF. Goes on easily. Doesn't feel greasy. Keeps me from burning. And seems to last on long rides here in sunny So Cal.

I like the Bullfrog quick spray. It doesn't grease up you hands and lasts with sweating.
