I hang it from ropes tied to the seat post and handlebars from a hook on the ceiling of my garage. That way I stay warm in the winter. having it suspended like that really makes it easy to get the bike up high enough to get to the 'smart dirt'. Besides, it keeps my garage floor clean too!

Wouldn't the dirt be falling down onto your garage floor? I'm assuming you put a tarp or something down underneath it?

Very nice, I love it! Exactly my taste, Overkill! I do have access to Stella but do not weld, however I work with people who do.

What do you use for the rods?

i normally just lean the bike against the pickup and blast it with the garden hose, it takes some practice though. i have this trick i where i place my thumb over the end of the hose and get an increase in pressure by restricting the exit. it's a pretty revolutionary technique, took me years to master, but works wonders for getting mud of my bike.

I constructed a wood floor stand, so because it is wood and somewhat heavy it does work but now I am into saving floor space in the garage and have individual floor stand.

One is the Willworx stand and I am thinking it will not be stable enough and might start the rusting process if getting soaked on a regular basis. The EZ stand appears to be all PVC but I have not purchased one yet ( in the thinking stages) and wondering how secure the bike will be in this stand during the cleaning process.

Someone must have some good advice for bathing the bike?

i dont wash mine, but my neighbor hooks the seat over a tree branch when he washes his
