    Veratomic QUICK-LOCK.- Anybody use these?

OK, my rear quick release seems to be coming loose during rides, and I prefer to keep the wheels on the frame when possible, so here i am, consumer again.
Has anyone tried these? (http://www.myquicklock.com)...I occasionally utilize my ride for beach commute/grocery run, and, therefore, lock the bike up in public. Id like to avoid the hassle of taking off the front wheel, as well as the worry about the seat. These look as though they will perform what they claim, but I am looking to find out from first hand users.

Problems that I would anticipate with the design:couldnt someone with a set of wrenches just loosen the end that screws out? do the qr levers fit tightly enought that you would ever ride with them in, or would i have to un-pocket a key each time i wanted to adjust seat hieght?

please let me know if you can answer these questions.

One end that screws out is tapered to prevent you from getting a wrench to clamp on. The other end (the lever end) is held very tightly in place by the cam device and by friction against the dropout. To undo the skewer from the lever side you'd have to hold the tapered side. You could probably still undo the skewer if you tried hard enough and had the tools. These are really more for theft deterrance and not prevention of determined thieves. If a thief is carrying vice grips around and wants your wheel he might get it with a lot of (obvious) effort. Of course any thief doing this might also have a few allens, in which case your whole ride could be cannabalized.

The levers are designed such that you can leave them in. There is a little retaining "ball" on the end of the levers (keys) that is spring loaded and holds the Q/R lever in place on the axle or seatbolt end. I've ridden with them in on my road bike and had no problems whatsoever with them falling out. YMMV on a rough mountain ride, but I don't think that's what you want to use these for.
