Touchscreen Friendly Full Finger Gloves
Hello,
Im looking for full finger gloves that can be used for touchscreen. I just hate to take off my gloves whenever I need to see / use my phone during ride.
Currently I use a pair of Pearl Izumi, very comfy and light, but not touchscreen friendly. Those mechanic gloves from hardware store are not either.
Please share your experience.
Thanks.

Cut off a finger or two on the gloves?

Touchscreen Friendly Full Finger Gloves
I don't know if they're specifically supposed to do it, but my Fox dirtpaws work with my iPhone most of the time.

Get a nokia lumia phone. Works with gloves or without.

My Icon gloves work but only the thumb. Not designed for it, they just do.

My Fox Dirtpaws work also. They work even better after I sweat a little and the gloves are a little moist.

Touchscreen Friendly Full Finger Gloves
I have a pair of Cannondale cold weather gloves that have a static panel on the index finger tips specifically for touch screens. Very comfy gloves too.

Re: Touchscreen Friendly Full Finger Gloves
My regular Fox Dirt Paw gloves work fine on my HTC.

I usually do well enough with regular gloves. I have Fox Digit right now.

My Headwind gloves from rei are screen friendly.

Get this:
Amazon.com: AnyGloveTM Turns Almost Any Gloves Into Touchscreen Gloves, iPhone Gloves, Texting Gloves, iPad Gloves: Computers & Accessories
I tried it at the SLC Winter Outdoor Retailers convention and it works as advertised. Use it on just about any glove and it lasts and works for a long time. It also doesn't change the texture or feel of the fabric it's on.

i picked up a SPECIALIZED wire tap last season and it was useless. i ended up cutting the index finger of the glove as what was earlier suggested.
i just recently came across a GIRO MONACO LF BIKE GLOVE and looks like it works.

I just whip out me wotsit and use that... Or take off me glove... can't understand why anyone would want to use a phone when riding?

Wow, lots of good infos.
Thanks so much. You guys make my research a lot easier.

REI has boatloads of full fingered gloves with a touchscreen tip. I'd say go there.

some of us use phones as bike computers, some of us still try to make a living while riding. i know of a Physical Therapist who, while waiting for a scheduled patient visit will hit the trails while waiting.
some of us sneak out of the house while the baby is sleeping and just in case anything comes up, is just a call away...
i know i ride while im ON-CALL from work.
this of course while using a headset of sorts along with the phone.

I will also use my nose (or elbow) for swiping the screen, but when I need to zone in on one small little icon, I use my tongue; aim is dead-on. Who knew that all those years of 'other uses' would make it the perfect appendage for using the smart phone when the digits are covered.

There was something in Popular Science about this recently... Basically, buy silver thread (made of silver, not colored silver) and sew an "x" on the tip of the finger. Turns any glove into a touchscreen-friendly glove.
But I also have some Fox gloves that usually work.
